Monica Gansukh is a visual artist working primarily in ceramics, with a practice that also extends into painting, sculpture, and mixed-media experimentation. Her practice primarily focuses on form and transformation. Through hand building techniques, mold making and surface experimentation, Monica investigates the relationship between craft and contemporary sculpture. Her practice is driven by curiosity and experimentation, exploring the possibilities of clay through shape, texture, and construction.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia
